KISMAS presents photo project - "Capture the Flux"

Photography is one of the ways to capture the desired moment in the ever-changing flow of life. It allows us to focus our attention on that moment, to analyze it, to recognize feelings, moods, to expand the boundaries of our perception of aesthetics.

The aim of the project is to focus on light, the environment it creates, and to present photography artists and their work together. Photographers Imantas Selenis, Jurga Ramonaite and Shukowski are participating in the project. Artists present stories whose main character is light. Here you will see the visual narrative by Imantas Selenis.

The light emitted by the Kismas Lamp 01 luminaire and the ability to adjust its intensity became the inspiration for the photo series created by Imantas.

The artist has noticed that the changing light changes the way we see and understand the space around us. This flux of light turns the space from static to dynamic - thus creating the illusion of movement, travel, even if we are standing in the same room and the "journey" takes place in our minds. The photo series transitions from static monumentality, clarity, order, rhythm (what we see in the first frame of the series) to chaos, naturalness and mysticism. Light becomes the main subject.
